The chargeback window is shorter than it looks
A card trail lives by the scheme rules, not by the client’s emotion.
Dispute time depends on the scheme, the acquirer and the transaction code. While a client gathers ‘all the chat screenshots’, the window can close.
A useful file is the descriptor, amount, date, MCC, statement and a short chronology. Not a novel of chat.
Chargeback is one lever, not the only one. If funds have already moved into e-money or crypto, another branch is needed.
