Why we never take seed phrases
A secret key is not evidence. It is control over an asset that can still be lost a second time.
A client who sends a seed ‘so you can unlock the wallet’ hands full control to an unknown party. For the matter that is worse than having no key.
We work from observed traces: transactions, descriptors, custodial consoles, correspondence. Recovery runs through a venue, a bank or counsel — not by entering the wallet.
If someone offers to ‘unlock by phrase’, that is a different market. We do not take part in it.
