Challenge
The victim transferred funds over nine months. The platform simulated profit and blocked withdrawals behind a ‘tax’.
Approach
We assembled correspondence, payment descriptors and on-chain traces, linked operator wallets to an OTC desk and prepared a file for the bank and venue.
Outcome
Part of the off-ramp was frozen. 41% of the evidenced amount was returned. The file went to counsel in two jurisdictions.
